Leanne Rose Pais
(CEO, Founder, Clinical Director)
Leanne Pais is a Counselling Psychologist and Psychological Therapist, Entrepreneur and Founder of The Unopened Box, a mental health organization dedicated to providing high-quality, holistic emotional and mental health care. With a focus on trauma-focused therapy, resilience building, and self-discovery, Leanne helps individuals move from survival mode to a thriving mindset.
She has built a reputation for excellence through her private practice in Bangalore, which has grown entirely through word-of-mouth references. Her approach, rooted in compassion and multicultural sensitivity, has connected her with clients across the globe, including the UK, US, Australia, Canada, Germany, Portugal, South Africa, UAE, Ukraine, and The Netherlands.
Leanne has trained and mentored mental health professionals, equipping them to build impactful practices, and has developed programs that are now used internationally.
She has grown The Unopened Box into an organization offering services across individual, couple, family, group, corporate, and community mental health care.
Enrolled in programs like NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore and the Stanford Seed Spark Program, Leanne continues to refine her vision of making mental health care accessible, inclusive, and transformative.

Therapy:
We offer Individual, Couple, Family, and Group Therapy sessions led by qualified counselling and clinical psychologists. Every session is personalised to address the specific needs of the client. No matter the size or nature of the problem, we are here to work collaboratively with you, helping you identify unhelpful patterns, heal emotional wounds, and create lasting change.
Workshops:
Our workshops are designed to take mental and emotional health beyond the therapy room. Covering topics such as self-care, emotional regulation, family dynamics, and intergenerational trauma, these workshops provide practical tools for healing and growth in a creative, interactive experiential engagement.
Community Engagement:
We believe healing is a collective effort. Our community programmes create spaces where individuals can share their stories, connect, and find strength in solidarity with like-minded people, forming deep, supportive connections.

Anahita Jain
Specialising in an eclectic approach to therapy, she integrates techniques like Insight-Oriented Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Parts Work in her work and fosters a therapeutic space rooted in curiosity and compassionate acceptance.
Aevita Nalian
With a focus on emotional intimacy, communication, and conflict management in couples and families she supports individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and self-esteem challenges, creating a safe space for healing and growth
Simone Diya Prabhu
Specialised in working with children and adults, addressing anxiety, depression, academic challenges, and neurodiversity. As a queer and trans-affirmative therapist, she creates an inclusive, client-centred space for acceptance and growth
Shubhashree Sen
With an expertise in cross-cultural backgrounds, she supports clients in emotional healing and resilience. Trained in suicide intervention and pursuing couple’s counseling, she offers a compassionate space for exploration and growth.
Aneesha Kavanattu Sajan
Specialized in working with individuals and Couples, supporting them in navigating and fostering a meaningful change. She integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family Systems Theory and the Gottman method in her practice, helping clients build insight, develop practical tools, and understand relational patterns to enhance their well-being and strength connections.
